Next STEP Social

As the holiday season approaches, join us on December 7, 2018 from 12:00pm -1:00pm for Next STEP. We will host an open time of socialization to celebrate your continued recovery and to share your experiences and insight with others in your STEPs family! Steps For Recovery will provide all the refreshments! We welcome you to bring ideas for future topics and further input on how we can continue to make Next STEP a beneficial advocacy group for education and community integration post-injury.

We at STEPS are thankful for your participation in Next STEP and hope you will continue to encourage others to attend and celebrate the recovery they have made!

Return to Driving Following Stroke, SCI and Brain Injury

Presented By: Bryn Kennedy DPT. This month we will discuss the topic of "Return to Driving".  We will have a panel discussion with several members of the community who have successfully returned to driving.  We will discuss how to initiate the process, tips on when it the right time to seek medical drivers evaluation and vehicle adaptations which can help with driving.

We will also have an opportunity for you to share your ideas for future next step meetings.

Spouses and caregivers are welcome.
